Cholesterol transport

Cholesterol requires a substance transporting his blood in the body to the cells that will transform it.
Lipoprotein
Lipoproteins are formed in the liver and will ensure the transportation of cholesterol. There are two types of lipoproteins: low-density LDL, low density and high density, HDL, high density.
LDL
LDL cholesterol carry cholesterol from the liver to other organs.
HDL
HDL cholesterol recover excess cholesterol and returns it to the liver or it is transformed and then eliminated (in bile) thus ensuring its transport from the tissues of the body to the liver.
